Terumo BCT is proud to support scientific and clinical research to advance therapeutic plasma exchange.
Through the Plasma Exchange Innovation Award, now in its fourth year, Terumo BCT will award $100,000 to one recipient or smaller grants (totaling up to $100,000) to multiple recipients.
The grant program is designed to encourage novel scientific ideas, best practices, standards and tools around the world. Applicants from neurology, nephrology, immunology, hematology and other fields of medicine are encouraged to submit proposals.
Share your vision for advancing therapeutic plasma exchange by submitting your Expression of Interest proposal by 29 May 2015.
About the 2014 Grant Winners: Professor Rino Cerio and co-investigator, Dr. Louise Fuller, are investigating the clinical efficacy, safety and immunologic effects of therapeutic apheresis in adults with severe psoriasis, who have failed systematic treatment and severe recalcitrant atopic dermatitis.
